Poem - 5
子有三般不自由
門庭蕭索冷如秋
若逢牛鼠交承日
萬事回春不用憂
When the ox and rat alternate, the breath of spring is about to return. The first month of summer (Yin month) is the time when all things flourish with life. This conveys that longevity, wealth, and honor in life are all governed by fate. Whether one attains them or not is beyond human control and cannot be forcefully pursued.Although the future may hold good opportunities, at present, things are not going as desired. It is like the desolate autumn scenery, with the courtyard feeling cold and empty. In the blink of an eye, autumn will pass, and spring will return, bringing vibrancy back to the household. This illustrates how the passage of time brings transformation. If one can follow the will of heaven and patiently wait for the right moment, then during the days when the ox and rat alternate, and the spring breeze blows, not only will fame and fortune be prominent, and food and clothing abundant, but all matters will also go according to one’s wishes. So, what is there to worry about?
This fortune indicates worry at first but joy later. You have three burdens, worries, constraints, or three unfavorable matters. The current situation is somewhat bleak, like autumn. What is misfortunate will gradually turn fortunate. Once spring arrives (after the lunar new year), everything will improve, and there will be no need to worry.
